OUR 2020-2021 PROGRAMS!

creativity! | integrity! | fun!

At APAA our first priority is the health and safety of our students and staff. To us you are family.  We love each and every one of you and think of you as part of our family, so we are taking every conceivable precaution to keep everyone both physically and mentally healthy.

Artists need to create art. They need to perform, they need to connect, and they need to do this in the safest way possible.  We have taken the guidelines from the CDC, consulted physicians and researched the best way to create air flow. To keep everyone as safe as possible we offering a limited number of programs for our 2020-2021 Season. Please learn more about these wonderful opportunities below.

APAA's Virtual Learning Support Center

Asheville Performing Arts Academy is expanding its programming to offer students who are choosing the 100% online option for their school education in the Fall the opportunity to attend our School by the Stage, APAA’s virtual learning support center.

This just makes our hearts leap! It is what an artist needs to do! Our performances this year will be based in producing straight plays, dance performances, and small group music theatre cabarets designed to build repertoire and give students more opportunity to do what they love, PERFORM!  In addition, Junior Company and Company students will begin work on their main stage performances (which we have designed to be able to be performed physically distanced) which will go up this spring in a physically distanced way.

We are working hard to bring performances back to the Asheville community in a safe manner. As more information becomes available, we will update our website.
