Our New Space
Our new studio at 55 Shiloh Rd is a massive 4,200 sqft space that offers a new fun industrial feel that will allow us to hold classes as safely as possible in a physically distanced way.
Limited In-Person Instruction
Prep classes will be meeting in person on Monday and Wednesday afternoons. Dancing and Acting classes will take place in a socially distanced manner. Music rehearsals will be held outdoors to help limit any spread.
We want to create as safe an environment as possible so we are limiting our programming for this year and our numbers so that we don’t have other students coming and going.
Our performance-based curriculum has rotating performances for each small group with safety at its roots. This will include a variety of performance opportunities Simultaneously student will be working on their small group cabaret and rehearsing their mainstage production (which we have designed to be able to be performed physically distanced) to be performed this spring in a physically distanced way.
As we work together to prevent the spread of illness, each student will be required to wear a mask while at APAA. We will have readily available hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes. Students will be asked to bring as little as possible to the studio so there is no potential for cross contamination. Frequent hand washing will be encouraged.
